Back in the 80s Oliver Peoples’ insistence on hand made vintage eyewear sparked an eyewear revolution.  The designer’s first boutique opened on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood at a time when gaudy bright colours and oversized futuristic shapes dominated eyewear trends.  Running counter to this ‘pop’ style Oliver Peoples instead featured neutral colours and subtle detailing, offering a sophisticated eyewear collection for a discerning clientele.
